Every testimonial on this platform goes through a simple check so readers can trust what they see. Here is what we confirm, what we leave out, and where the limits are.
A review is marked as verified when the reviewer confirms they purchased a product or received a service from the listed business. We ask for an order number, a receipt, or a direct confirmation from the artisan. Without one of these, the review stays unverified and is labeled as such.
We skip reviews that contain personal attacks, unrelated complaints, or claims we cannot check. We also remove anything that looks like spam, duplicate submissions, or content copied from another site. The goal is to keep the feedback useful, not to silence honest criticism.
Each review is placed into a category based on the type of service or product described: handmade goods, custom illustration, art classes, event decor, or personalized gifts. If a review covers more than one category, we pick the one that matches the main focus of the experience.
We display each review with details about what was purchased, when it was ordered, and how the delivery or service went. This context helps new customers understand whether a review applies to their own situation, since a custom portrait and a watercolor class are very different experiences.
Star ratings are averaged from all verified reviews in a category. Written feedback is shown separately so readers can see the reasoning behind the score. We do not mix verified and unverified ratings into a single number.
If you have worked with a local artisan or creative service listed here, you can share your story through the contact page. Include what you ordered, how the process went, and any details that would help someone else decide. We review every submission before it goes live.
Every review on this board is read by a real person before it appears. We check that the purchase or service actually happened, that the details match what the artisan offers, and that the tone stays respectful. If something is unclear, we reach out to you first rather than guessing.
